Finding your authentic voice
Finding your authentic voice. Sometimes I think about why it’s so important to find your voice in this world. If you believe as I do that we end up back where we started before we existed is true, then why is it so important to do anything out of the ordinary? The answer to that question for me always goes back to humanity. I don’t know about you, but I want to leave this world a little better place than before I stepped into it.
Look around you… does it really make sense to you that this world is full of struggle for a huge majority of humanity? Does it really make sense to struggle through the entire time of existence? And then to watch our children with the same struggles? If someone showed you that there was a different way, wouldn’t you do anything and everything within your power to embrace that? If there was a way that through your journey, the struggles got less and less and you had full power of the life of your dreams, wouldn’t you seek the road less travelled?
I loved that book “The Road Less Travelled” by M. Scott Peck. I read that book years ago when I was going through a divorce and it helped me leaps and bounds in my spiritual growth. That was many years ago, I’ve since happily remarried and have children and have a whole new understanding of the Road Less Travelled. Not a lot of people in this world find their authentic voice, thankfully the numbers of people speaking through authenticity is growing exponentially as people realize that they CAN share their voice in a world that so desperately needs to hear every one of our messages of love, courage and faith. We understand there is struggle in this world and we are doing what we can to make that struggle less and less so the future generations will not have to live that way.
So I ask ‘Why is it so important to find your authentic voice and shout it out loud?’ because the message of love in you will be unique to your experience and the world needs to hear how you have grown in love in your journey. That’s what it all boils down to, we are all on a journey to find love and peace and to help our world find the same, as opposed to the way of the past where the focus on humanity has been about struggle, hardships and living separate.
Finding my voice has been one of the most challenging and rewarding things I have done in my life. As I continue this journey and learn how to love better every day, I am more aware of how the universe paves the way for me. The challenges are greatly to do with my own impatience and unawareness of a lesson of love before me. The rewards are a deeper understanding of myself as a whole, the love of humanity and abundance. I can honestly say that I am in love with my life, even on days that I feel disconnected, I am still in love with being on this journey and excited about what lies ahead. I would not have said that years ago.
Have you found your authentic voice? If so, have you shouted it out loud? If not, what is stopping you?? Don’t let the outside world push you down… find your inner voice and let it shine. The world needs to hear your voice and see your light.
Keep loving and learning and making a difference, however big or small!
